There are two main car routes to take from the eastern metropolitan area:
…via Burwood Highway
Take the Burwood Highway to Belgrave. At the end of the shopping strip, turn right at the roundabout into the Belgrave – Hallam Road and, a few seconds later turn left at the roundabout on to the Belgrave – Gembrook Road towards Emerald. You will know you are on the right road because soon after you’ll drive under Puffing Billy’s famous trestle bridge. Enjoy the spectacular views until you see St Cuthbert’s on your right, immediately after Church Road.
…via Wellington Road
When coming from the city or south-eastern suburbs take the Monash Freeway or Eastlink to Wellington Road. Drive east along Wellington Road for about 20 minutes (do not follow the GPS short cut). Enjoy the drive but watch the bends until you reach the T-junction at the Paradise Hotel. Turn left here and after two or three minutes or 2½ kilometres, soon after the Menzies Creek Hall take the left hand fork onto Railway Parade where you will see a sign ‘Wedding Chapel parking’ .
